The lack of shariah compliant financial products has kept a large proportion of the Canadian muslim population underbanked with respect to financing and investment opportunities.  This is especially true for the muslim community inability to purchase a home, given the rise in  inflation, a rapidly expanding real estate market, and the lack of halal financing options.
